He'd gotten hit in the forehead with a ceiling beam that ended up crashing through without warning, and may end up with a concussion later, though the superficial cut takes more precedent. He has various bruises, some darker and angrier than others, but nothing that'll scar. He hasn't noticed the slight limp, but it'll be visible when he moves; it's harder to discern when he's still picking his way through the rubble.

[ rin's no medic, certainly not of any skill, but his proximity to the damage had meant that he'd done what he'd can when those who had been injured in the destruction had emerged from the smoke. korra being around had helped, the fact that she had actual healing prowess making the whole situation much easier to deal with.
add to that the fact that rin has met someone that has broadcasted her willingness to help those in need of healing, and he's already putting together a plan regarding how to best help zack.
